- ZONE Wallet fingerprint/facial login service (from now on referred to as "this service") refers to the user's ability to use the built-in fingerprint recognition feature in mobile devices (including, but not limited to, Apple iOS 6 or later Touch ID, Google Android 6.0 or later native fingerprint recognition), or use the facial recognition Face ID feature built into Apple iPhone devices (from now on referred to as Face ID), or use Google Android 10.0 or later operating system's native biometric recognition feature that meets the high-strength authentication level (i.e., facial or iris recognition, from now on referred to as Google biometric recognition) for biometric recognition verification through a mobile device before logging into ZONE Wallet. ZONE Wallet will not retain the user's fingerprint, facial, or other biometric feature information. This service only supports mobile devices with fingerprint recognition, Face ID, or Google biometric recognition. This service is turned off by default and must be enabled by the user after configuring and activating it on the mobile device to use the fingerprint/facial/other biometric feature login function in the ZONE Wallet.
- Each user account can only use this service on one activated mobile device. Suppose the same user account is reconfigured and activated with biometric authentication on another mobile device. In that case, the biometric authentication on the original mobile device will be automatically disabled and rendered ineffective, and the user cannot continue using this service on the original mobile device.
- After users log in to ZONE Wallet, they can simultaneously activate the simplified login service using fingerprint, face recognition, or other biological traits. Users can choose their preferred default login method. If no choice is made, the company will automatically use the first activated simplified login service as the default login method for ZONE Wallet. However, if users log in using Google's biometric authentication on their mobile device, they should still manually choose between fingerprint, face recognition, iris, or other identification methods each time.
- Please ask the user to confirm that the mobile device for enabling biometric recognition only stores the user's fingerprints, Face ID, or Google biometric features before enabling this service. Also, please refrain from using this service with jailbroken system permissions on mobile devices. Users should personally ensure the proper safeguarding of their mobile devices and not share them with others. It is recommended that users set a "screen lock password" or "boot password" for their mobile devices before enabling this service to ensure the security of account information.
- Please note that the fingerprint/face/other biometric recognition features cannot achieve a 100% recognition rate. The recognition results may fail due to abnormal fingerprint recognition function on the mobile device, inability to recognize due to wet or slippery fingers, similarity to other people's faces, changes in appearance, lighting, angles, and other factors. Suppose the user attempts to log in to ZONE Wallet using this service with consecutive incorrect attempts reaching the system limit set on the mobile device. In that case, the company will automatically suspend the user's login through this service. However, the user can still log in to ZONE Wallet by entering the "email and login password" and then reactivate this service manually.
- ZONE Wallet can temporarily or permanently suspend fingerprint/face/other biometric authentication functions on specific devices with security concerns. However, a notice should be posted on the official website of ZONE Wallet 3 days before the suspension, except in urgent situations where the notice can be posted simultaneously with the suspension on the official website of ZONE Wallet.
The user agrees that any matters not specified herein shall be governed by the ZONE Wallet User Terms, thereby reinforcing the user's acceptance of these terms.
